Every once in awhile people get introspective. They start thinking about their lives, asking questions like the following. How did they get to where they are today? Where do they want to go next? What do they want to accomplish in the next 5, 10, 15 or 20 years? These are all questions that come to mind. When people think of the answers, they start to make complex plans and strategies. And unfortunately, they don’t always come to fruition, because we make things much more complicated than necessary. If we want to be happy and live life to the fullest, we only need to do one thing. We need to grow.
How To Be Happy And Live Life To The Fullest
No matter where we are in life, or what we are doing, we all have the opportunity to be happy and live life to the fullest. If we are constantly growing, challenging ourselves and adding experiences to our lives, those are the keys. The things we choose to do day in and day out need to make us better in some way, fashion or form. If they do, then we will be happy and fulfilled. It really is that simple. We don’t need rocket science, we just need a little gumption to do something each day that grows us, even if in the tiniest manner. There’s a reason why Eleanor Roosevelt’s famous quote still stands today. She said,
Do one thing every day that scares you.
I believe the essence of that statement speaks to growth. If you do something that scares you, you are doing something that you previously thought was out of reach. By doing said action, you have now expanded your experiences to include a new set of activities. And that, my friends, is the beginning of growth.
To explain this even further, I have found a clip that will give you an even deeper understanding of this concept. Take a moment to watch it, it is very powerful stuff. For anyone who wants to be happy and live life to the fullest, this is for you – take notes!
